Viewers are captivated by 'Phantom of the Paradise,' praising its unique blend of horror, comedy, and musical drama. The film's eclectic style, vibrant visuals, and memorable music resonate deeply, making it a cult classic despite its initial commercial failure. Audiences appreciate the satirical take on the music industry and the 1970s era, though some find its kitschy and over-the-top nature a bit too much.
