Synopsis
Adi is a 17-year-old teenager from a poor village in the Danube Delta, who lives and studies in a bigger city during school time. He returns to the village for the summer vacation and falls in love with Razvan, a student from Bucharest vacationing for a few days in the Delta. One night, after spending time and walking around together, Adi is beaten up and left unconscious in the middle of the road by two other teenagers who live in the village. The reason is that the two boys kissed and held hands. Their parents express themselves differently when confronted with the truth about their son. For the mother, being gay means one is being possessed by the Devil and one needs church, priest, and exorcism; for the father, being gay is bluntly unacceptable. That also stands for the vast majority of the people in the village who think it is such a sin to be gay when there are many beautiful girls in the world. And that leaves Adi with only one solution.
